Billy from GamerKnights did a full review of the new "Trials Rising" from Ubisoft.
"Unlike the other Trials games, there seems to be some sort of story structure. You have a map and you pick the course you want to get stuck into. There are your usual gold, silver and bronze targets to aim for and the subsequent rewards allow you to get further into the game. This can come back to bite you though because there will be a fair bit of replay needing done if you fail to reach the dizzy heights of some levels, but theres always the goodness of short stages."

Does Trials Rising stand up to the test? Or has the series lost its appeal?"

"Still looks great on its own terms".
After a few weeks, Digital Foundry has now released a comparison video. While the performance and visual "cutbacks are quite extreme" in the Switch version, fortunately, the gameplay is fundamentally intact.
It's apparently a miracle the game has even landed on the Switch at all. This port uses dynamic scaling in both portable and docked modes and mostly maintains a resolution of 720p. In contrast, the base PlayStation 4 runs the game at 1080p and the base Xbox One version runs at around 900p.
