Head to head: Lumia 950 XL vs the anti-Google Huawei P40 Pro

Added: 04.04.2020 8:06 | 0 views | 0 comments

One common thread in my head-to-heads here on AAWP is that the option of going to Android isn't appealing because of privacy concerns - of Google knowing too much about us. While I'm not that paranoid, I understand the mind set and - here - present perhaps the perfect smartphone for someone worried about Google. This is a top spec Android flagship that doesn't use Google services at all. Thanks to Trump in the USA and a spat with China, of course, but anti-Google buyers benefit (perhaps). As a bonus, you get perhaps the best camera system ever put into a phone. Ever.

The power button and controllers still work.
We're used to seeing console and PC mods but this design is a little different. The YouTube channel decided to gut a Nintendo GameCube and turn it into a fully-functioning gaming PC. While not everyone will agree with this decision, interestingly the controllers still work, and the original power button still turns the system on.

Sakurai Explains The Idea Behind Smash Bros. 'Pic Of The Day' And How It Keeps His Dev Team In Sync

It creates "a better flow".
For a very long time now, director Masahiro Sakurai has been sharing a 'Pic of the Day' over on Twitter. While he's previously explained how a lot of these screens were never intended to be shown outside of the office, in his most recent Weekly Famitsu column, he revealed the idea behind it – yeah, there's a story.
This long-time tradition dates back to the development of on the Nintendo 3DS. Sakurai would write something daily and attach a picture of the current build of the game to keep the development team up to date. This carried across to future games as well. Here's a translation (thanks, EventHubs):

The PlayStation Classics: Devil May Cry 4 Special Edition

Added: 03.04.2020 5:07 | 0 views | 0 comments

People were dealt quite a blow at the end of April 2019. Matt Walker, one of the Devil May Cry 5 producers, said that development on the game ended. While data mining had hinted at another playable character, his statements meant things were done. No Lady, Trish, or Vergil for people who were hoping they would come to the game. (At least fans always have the Bloody Palace.) So, while gamers mourn and come to terms with that, lets celebrate a game that, well, actually did give us all three of those people as playable characters. Lets talk about Devil May Cry 4.

Let's-a-go!
For a long time now, Nintendo fans have been crying out for themed LEGO sets based on their favourite video games. While Super Mario probably wasn't the number one request, that's how this collaboration between the two famous companies will begin.
Right now, apart from the initial reveal, there's been nothing officially mentioned about a price or release date for these upcoming Mario themed sets. Now, though, GoNintendo has supposedly received a tip from a "Target Insider" about this new line. Here's the full rundown:

Check this out, Nintendo.
Earlier this week, we heard some about the potential revival of multiple Mario games. One, in particular, was . While many fans would love to see it return to form, what would it be like if Nintendo decided to turn one of its other major franchises into a paper-crafted RPG experience?

And patch that glitch while you're at it.
Have you taken a look at the skies above your island in recently and noticed there are continual balloon fly-overs? Well, you're not alone. There appears to have been an increased rate of balloon spawns in the lead-up to Bunny Day and it's starting to drive some players absolutely bonkers.
While we're definitely concerned about the progress-stopping glitch preventing balloons from appearing, we thought it would be interesting to take a look at the other side of the story and see how players are coping with the high volume of balloons now flying over the airspace of their island. Here are just some of the many reactions:

And it's just gone on sale, too.
The quirky, 'romantic comedy roguelite-RPG' has been treated to a pretty substantial update today on Nintendo Switch, and the base game's been put on sale, too.
The update, called 'Dandy Dungeon II: The Phantom Bride', is said to more than double the size of the original game. Intrigued? Well, here's what's included:
